Concept

The kindergarden is for 3 to 6 year old children with the last year being led as pre-school. The teaching method in this pre-primary school is based on Early Childhood Education Development (ECE). Teaching language is English from the beginning. The intention is to establish school classes going-forward, in which parts will also be taught in the German language. The institution is open for all children of Kapan and surrounding, independent of religion.

The school fee amounts to Rs 5.000.-/ month per child. The number of children per class is limited to 15. The school fees include day care, transportation as well as lunch and snacks during the day.

Children of families that cannot afford the school fees can apply for a scholarship to join the kindergarden free of charge. The success of the application depends on the socio-economic conditions of the family and on the availability of a private sponsor or the financial possibilities of the Children of Kapan organization.
